Computer resets as soon as I try to start mining. please help.
zeronic:
Hmm the only time I've had the problem is when I had an nVidia chipset and it would cause my old GTX285 to crash when the load got to high. Might be the same problem, try other ways to load the GPU up to near max and see if it resets.

What would be a good way to load the GPU to near max to see if it resets? Is there a program to download that will do this for me?
JeffMcCob1228:
I am running this computer ontop of a desk with no case. Would this effect GPU mining? I can upload pics if I needs too.
zeronic:
As long as the GPU is staying below 85C or 75C preferred an open case should be fine, run a tool like FurMark: http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/ which has stress and stability testing.
JeffMcCob1228:
ya I downloaded FurMark and as soon as I try to run the program it shuts off just like when I start to mine. I am really starting to think that it has something to do with my power supply.

That is the power supply I bought on ebay. Do you think I need a new power supply?
